Hello, Does anyone have any info on this coin? It is a very large coin approx. the size of a US Morgan silver dollar. Testing with a magnet it is non-magnetic. If anyone knows it's country of origin, composition, and if it has any value, I would like to hear from you. It is also in a old coin flip that is barely readable. It says 1643 Brunswick Wolfenbutter, Glochentaler or ( Bell Taylor )? Thanks
Thankyou aiglet7 for the link. I put in the year 1643 and searched. All Talers of 1643 were show and there was an identical coin as mine shown. The coin is a old German Taler from 1643. It also is made of silver. Do you or anybody know if they colectable and what there valued. Thanks again for you help.
Thanks again aiglet7 for the link. Looks like it has some value. I have had the coin for years as I inherited it from my father. I just recently decided to take pictures and research it as I knew nothing about it. I appreciate the link as I have several other world coins I want to check. Never thought it would be another Canadian to provide the info. Thanks again.
