probably a 3 pence or 6 pence.
I don't think it is medieval ,i think its Tudor ?

Inbetween 3 and sixpence; I think this is a groat (fourpence)! The arms on the reverse are consistent with Tudor. However, the reverse motto on the Tudor groats was usually POSVI DEUM ADJUTOREM MEUM ("I have made God my helper"). Only one Tudor had VERITAS TEMPORIS FILIA ("truth is the daughter of time") on her groats, as I believe is on this one, and that was Mary I ("Bloody Mary"). Would welcome any other thoughts anyone has, though.
