Thought I'd get the forum's opinion on this one as far as the grade goes. Also, I've heard someone talk about "wood" cents before but I'm not so sure what they are. I have a few other coins that appear grainy of varying degrees, if that makes sense. If someone could clear that up a little for me I'd really appreciate it, thanks in advance!

I vote VG10. The yellow streaks is a result of poor alloy mix when the planchet material as made. Nice woody cents are attractive. This one is.
