Hello,
Am thinking of starting a 7070 album collection, but don't know where I can get the album from. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Do not see the 7070 listed in that link. This is where I got mine a few years ago http://www.danscoalbumstore.com/adv...7070&x=0&y=0 but see they are out of stock of just about everything for the 7070 now. The best place to get one may be ebay or a coin store that has some stock of them somewhere near you. I have heard some members have luck by asking sellers at coin shows about old empty albums and them either giving them away or only charging a few dollars for each album. They are supposed to be updating the 7070 album (which doesn't interest me at all since I consider it a 19-20th century album) and until they get this done most big places online will be out of stock

7070s arent made anymore. You have to either get them off ebay or from a local dealer. As far as I've seen none of the usual major suppliers have any left in stock since it has been quite sometime since theyve been produced

I don't know of any online source that still has any in stock (but they could be somewhere I don't know of). They were actually quite popular and have not been produced for some time now, which has led to their unavailability.

They are generally selling for unnecessary premiums on ebay so your best bet would by coin shops. However, since you live in Canada that could be tough as well. Try posting a want thread on this forum to other members.

What Dansco has been saying...for what seems like a year..is they are in the process of updating the 7070 album.

You may be able to find a old stock one, or a used one.

Or you may just want to keep getting the coins that will fill the album, and wait for the new one to come out.

Ive heard from a few dealers that the Dansco owner has gotten into other things and basically just runs the company part time now. How that affects the company who knows. Unless the mint is planning some new series we dont know about theyre waiting for getting out new albums doesn't seem to be much of a priority for them
