Gil-galad Pillar of the Community United States 2044 Posts	Posted 11/10/2012 5:49 pm It's really difficult for me to tell with the lack of details. I think it might be a Roman Provincial coin. It has a centration dimple in the middle of the coin. Maybe a horse on the reverse. Report this Post to the Staff

However, I think it just might be a provincial coin of Gordian III. Possibly from Dionysopolis http://wildwinds.com/coins/ric/gord...hmov_125.jpg or Istros http://wildwinds.com/coins/ric/gord...anov_690.jpg But to be honest, this is only a guess. It has a lot of similarities to the first link bing. I did the best I could with the pics. Couldn't get all the detail in with the lighting over powering. But you are right, it is worn quite a lot.
