I'm not really good at these, which is why I looked up a diagnostic photo. Something I notice right away are the straight sides of the square zero, and how the top is noticeably lower than the "3". So yeah--I'd say it's the common one too.
The first coin pictured is definitely the round oval "0." As I remember, the small square "O" in the date is a letter "O." Somebody at the mint used a letter "O" punch for the last digit in the date when some die(s) where being made.
If you compare the size and shape of the small square "O" in the date to the letter "O"s in the legend, they match exactly.
