Been collecting the Gallienuis Series, mainly the Animals..  So to add to my collection, working on the Wife's... My new Girl...Solonina..wife of Gallienius... Solonina...257 - 259 AD. AR.Antoninianus... Ob. Salonina.AVG.Diad. Bust right. Cresent behind shoulder.. Rev. Venvs Felex, seated left.. Ex. right hand - to child or cupid and holding transurie specter... Mint Cologne... Nice large coin..22mm x 5.30g. Picked this for $12...    Edited by Eng5858

This is a bronze coin? AE? Curious.... Nice fat piece over 5 grams. I have this for big coins.

we need some of those bottom feeder commemorative coins...
Heroic Bust of DougS with the mighty catfish being wreathed by Nike reverse...(error legends)
...or the Draped Helmeted bust of Bing with the happy crab reverse (partially readable legends)

In hope of playing down the bottom feeder reputation I'll show today's new arrival from Warren's last listing which is the best of my coins of Helena, mother of Constantine I. If I only bought nice coins like this people would think I am a better photographer and smarter than I actually am.  |
