So I'm fairly new to all this, but from what I can see its very easy to become addicted. Most of the coins I have came from my grandfather (my dad and him used to save/set them aside). I have several classic coins mostly dating back to the war-time years, but quite a few that are early 1900's or late 1800's. Also have several world coins (grandfather was on a destroyer in WWII, believe he most likely accumulated them in his travels).
Anyways this is the only one of these coins I have ever seen. It does have a thin layer of plastic over it, but it seems to be in pretty good condition. Love to know what you guys think and what grade you would give. Thanks.

I am not seeing any red flags. I think it would grade around AU-50. Nice coin!

AU-50 is about right...1/8 oz of gold...melt value $225...collectors value $350
If this coin had a D mint mark by the points of the arrows...it would be worth over $5000!!!

Think I would grade this one EF-45. Seems to be quit a bit of wear on the Indians head dress feathers.

What a coincidence. I just got the same coin today with the same date, only mine looks a lot worse on the obverse. I think yours may have been in a bezel at one time. Mine was in a bezel for a long time and there's a ring around the outer perimeter. I may be wrong but it looks like there is a faint ring around yours too. I may be seeing things.
