Wow that's a lot of 56's in one place! macmercury, I think the third zero to the right of the comma (decimal point in this case) is a typo. Sounds about right at $25.00.

To me, the coin is fake. It looks wrong in so many ways, the lettering, the style of the eagle, finish. It just doesn't look like a real Flying Eagle cent.

I have 5 FEC's and this looks nothing like any of them. They are all much lower grades, G-XF40 or so, but the date doesn't look right compared to the rest. The lettering looks off as well. The beak is also completely different than the other 5.

I haven't handled a great many FE's, but at first glance that coin screamed "FAKE". Bryan's close up confirmed it even more for me.
