11/20 270 AD Maximinus born in Illyricum. He was Roman Emperor from 308 to 313. He became embroiled in the Civil wars of the Tetrarchy between rival claimants for control of the empire, in which he was defeated by Licinius. He was a committed pagan initiated one of the last persecutions of Christians.

11/20 284 AD Diocletian proclaimed eastern emperor.He separated and increased the Empire's civil and military services while reorganizing the Empire's provincial divisions. He established the largest and most bureaucratic government in the history of the Empire.

Where is your Athanasius link? There are a couple coins that could be used to refer to him if you push a point.

I don't know how I done it but I made a mistake by misreading the emperor. It's supposed to be Maximinus II, not Maximianus. I wish someone would have said something. lol Here is the right coin.
