Do you think this 5 cents can have been contaminated by PVC? This the only spot on the coin. Unfortunately, my batterie came down and I can't take a picture of the observe.

Thanks

Does the obverse have a similar effect?
It appears too be on only the high points and I would say the coin has been cleaned.
Contaminated for sure just not sure it was PVC, cleaning agents can cause the same effect if not rinsed properly.

Only the reverse. The coin is Au-55 with lustre. I will try to take an other picture as soon my battries are charged. The black spot is only on the reverse and nothing on the observe.

Thanks,
