No you don't ! Most of the ones that are for sale are from the Danny Kaye estate.

The bidding will be on the holder, not the coin. There could be a 2012 penny in there and it would still go for big money.

But do we trust a seller who can't even copy the correct spelling of Israel from the holder

! It is unfortunate, but you're correct about the holders carrying the load on these. Gotta love the spelling catch too.

Also, the seller lists it as MS-66 "circulated".

When I saw this this morning, IT WAS $70. I was going to say that it was a heck of a deal for $70. The coin is worth about $50-$60 and twenty extra for the holder was a deal. 6 hours later , that's not the way it ended up.

$364 for a $50 coin

That's cheap for anything in a Regency holder. $800 wouldn't have been surprising. They're that collectible.
