It's not in good condition, and I'll probably spend it tomorrow...but I was so excited when I saw this I just had to come straight here and share it with you!! This is the only star note I've ever seen (since I started paying attention to my money!). :)

Since it's your first maybe you should keep it and start a collection of star notes.

Besides the star, which is just fun to find, you have a nice number -- 03 1956 -- maybe you know somebody born in March of '56.

I have found about 8 star notes, and I have kept every one. You know why star notes are issued, right?

Thanks, everyone!! I was so excited about it and had literally no one to tell that would care! LOL
I'm just learning about all this money stuff and I think it's so fun!
I plan on keeping it but saved the pic in case I accidentally spend it. :)
I am analyzing every dollar and cent I get now. ;)

ETA: sorry I didn't reply to everyone individually but I'm typing from my tiny phone. :)

nice find. since its your first it might be fun to keep it as your first. its only a dollar and if need be in the future you can always spend it.

I've kept all my star note found in circulation. Bill hoarder never spend :))

it is from a run of 3.2 million I would just spend it.
