For all those losing patience with the mint.....those coins are already 100+ YEARS old, a couple of more weeks isn't going to matter. Perhaps your patience will be rewarded.

Yeah, correct...

I do not mind, except unknown CC charge day.

But as many people mentioned - what can cause delay for the HS coins(do not requires special case), if they were minted 100 years ago.

I think, no one didn't do any selection prior the sale.
And only after the sale was closed (estimated amount has been sold), they started to "Hand Select" , while starting from 1912.
Only the 6-coin sets probably were ready - to much money involved.

With no noticed, I received my 1913 $5 I ordered Feb 26. Still no sign of 1914 $5 ordered nov 28. I really wonder why the 1914 is so late. I can't figure out if I can load pictures with my iPhone. It's the only Internet I have at the moment. If/when I figure it out, I'll post pics of the 1913. I'd love to hear input on grade. I'm so excited to get it that I keep grading it AWSOME! I have no clue about grading. It's part of my new top 5 favorite coins.

Like silveroid, it's not the waiting in and of itself, it's the money involved, and its disappointing as this is yet another example of the mint not delivering on time as promised (early Jan if I remember correctly). Not to mention the complete randomness of who they are shipping orders to. Doesn't matter if you were first in line or last by the looks of things.

Plus it just blows my mind how there could possibly be delays on coins that were minted 100 yrs ago!

I expect no time frame the RCM sets on anything anymore. At this point, getting one $5 hs in hand will hold off my aggravation, at least for a little while. They really are spectacular coins, I've got to say. In not in a super hurry but it's just about a thing called customer service. Or lack of in this case.

I wonder how many ebay 'Pre Sales' have fallen through because of these (&*%%$&&& delays? I recall a really early one where the seller confidently stated something along the lines "the Mint will be shipping my coins on December 28". Maybe the Mint forgot to add "2014".

I was downtown Vancouver today, so here is the update from the RCM boutique....as mentioned previously, they rec'd some more coins, and as of noon today, here is what they had remaining:
PS: 1913 $5, 1913 $10 (3), 1914 $10 (3)
HS: 1912 $10, 1913 $10 (5), 1914 $10.

The manager mentioned that they are getting TWO PREMIUM SETS in next week, for anyone with $12,000 + HST kicking around.

None of them are particularly attractive, given the high prices. The premium $10 are selling for $1750+tax and still available online. The best among the bunch is the 1912 $10 HS which is out stock online. The other $10 coins are widely available online.

I love it...

Processing = $5 HS 1914 order Nov 28 - ordered via website
Shipped = $5 HS 1912 & 1914, order Feb 22 - ordered via MC Rep

Has anyone else had the same experience? It seems like they are shipping last ordered, first shipped
