Just came in the mail yesterday:

$20-Hawaii
$20-Hawaii

I now have all the Hawaii and North Africa Emergency Notes except for the $5 Hawaii. I haven't seen as many of them for sale as the other ones, and the prices seem to be significantly higher (even in mediocre condition). I'm guessing there weren't as many printed, or perhaps it's just a matter of fewer having survived.

Sweet! That'll be a great set once you've got the 5.

Very cool! You should post them all when you get the five. It would be nice to see them all together.

I actually got it from APMEX. They have an "All Other Items" sections that includes "US Currency By Type" and I check it out periodically. Every once in awhile they will list a single item such as this Hawaii Note in addition to the stuff they sell in bulk quantities (usually things like late series silver certificates and such).

barryg, I'm basically in the same boat as you, except I'm missing both the $5 and $10 denominations. I actually found a $5 note at my local currency dealer's shop that was ungraded but in flawless, and I mean stunning, condition and should easily bring a grade of 60 or more. The problem is he wants a solid $400 for it, a price 4x more than I paid for any of my other Hawaiians. I'm so tempted to go ahead and shell it out, but damn, that's a lot of cash to throw down for that note.
