I've recently gotten a few old style notes from the bank, but on my measly college budget they've started holding up too much money. Still, I don't quite have the heart to bring 'em back to the bank where they'll probably end up back at the fed and shredded up. I wouldn't even mind giving them away for face to a collector. Any Suggestions?

When it comes to old notes I am going to save every 50's series notes I come across. I will even save some 60's series depending on certain factors. Anything newer than that unless it is uncirculated isn't really worth saving unless you are putting together a collection of notes. A lot of people like to try to save every series of FRN's to have a complete collection and that is a worthy reason to save but just don't think they are valuable or rare just because they are a small portrait note because they really aren't.

It's nothing worth posting pictures of. Basically 1985-1995 fives and tens in circulated condition. And I figure they're not worth anything special but I still find it hard to just spend them.

Id still be interested in purchasing them if your selling them at face value. How many do you have of each?
