Hey so was about to spend my last 10$ on gas when I noticed my $10 bill had the serial number BFD0851969, which I immediately turned into August 5 1969 or 8th of May 1969. My question is are these worth anything? Or better yet anyone here have one of the two above birthdays? I'd feel much better knowing it was in a collection rather than circulation.

Birthday notes sell real well online. If you decide to put something like this on ebay for example, you might want to drag out the auction 10 or even 30 days to maximize the exposure. Or sell it next year just before August.

Well today, you could've got 8-9 litres of gas for it. By the time you sell it next May or August, you might only get 4-5 litres of gas for it. It's all about perspective :)
