North of 49 Pillar of the Community Canada 617 Posts	Posted 11/14/2012 8:13 pm can anyone recommend a dealer who is fair and who deals in banknotes. A friend asked me to recommend someone to him but I didn't really know of anyone. Report this Post to the Staff

I know of one in TO who guaranties between 50 to 65 % or trend ... Others maybe 3o to 50 depending.... North of 49 Pillar of the Community Canada 617 Posts	Posted 11/15/2012 8:20 pm I just got a glance at what he had, not a whole lot , a small pile of shin plasters, couple George VI , some Confederate money among others. I'll see about a list over the next few days. Like I said he just wanted me to recommend a dealer to him, I'm not sure what he intends to do but I will be sure to mention that he might find some interested parties right here. LondonCoin CCF Sponsor Canada 149 Posts	Posted 11/25/2012 3:30 pm I agree ebay works well if your familiar with it. It is more time consuming, and you have no insurance shipping the items. Canada Post does not insure coins. If you take the chance you may get a bit more for them. So there is the positives, and negatives of using this method. Report this Post to the Staff

But thank you for the advice, I 'm getting ready to sell some of my stuff and ebay is probably where I will start. With our hobby knowing how to sell is just as important as knowing how to buy.
