I am looking for a website that has a listing of the coin shows and date/locations here in Toronto, or area.
I never seem to hear about them fast enough and I miss them.

I am just a small guy trying to finish my fathers collections of pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters.

Any one know of a place.

Well... Torex and the Toronto Coin Expo are the two big shows. I'd recommend the Toronto Coin Expo.

http://www.trajan.ca/showbbs/ccn.pl is a listing of shows nearby to Toronto

This weekend, there is a coin show in Brampton. Also, for future local coin shows, the link provided by Windchild is a good one.

31 coin shows listed, not one in the West.

Is it because of the sparseness of population and long travel distances between centers? Or are there fewer collectors per capita?

I am going to hit the Brampton store, if there is a wish from any of my western friends, lwet me know.
I do have a chap in Winnipeg that I buy a lot of errors and missing Canadian coins from. He said as well, that he only has one or two shows a month in his city.

I shall make the treck up to Brampton from Oakville.

Delspa1, rather than buying the first examples you see at a coin show. Learn yourself. Find nice coins to fill holes. I have every 5 cent coin on your list in previous thread but it took TIME, not money. I (and others in Ont) will gladly help you. If you do not educate yourself you may end up with an awful lot of money spent for inferior or wrong coins.
