I have these two Gold coins that my father left me. Does anyone know anything about them and an idea on value?

If they are real, your coins are escudos.

The 1792PJF is Colombian. It should weigh 3.38 grams and is made of .875 fine gold. Krause catalog number KM#56.2.

The 1801PTSPP is Bolivian. The weight and fineness are the same as the Colombian coin. Krause catalog number KM#78.

I would look on ebay to find out what they are selling for. Just search completed auctions.

Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable will be along soon.
