Well...not too bad for 204 years old. The light scratches only show up under magnification. Sometimes digital photography just is too good!

Neat coin. I'm still looking for a large cent and Half Cent for my collection.

Mike, With Moe under your bed, I don't think you need to worry about your bedroom getting robbed.

Angle...actually, I sort of stumbled onto this one. I was in one of our local coin shops, asking about large cents. They had just purchased an extensive collection of type coins, so brought out several large cents and a couple of Half Cents. I just couldn't resist the 1803 Half Cent...oldest US coin in my collection, now. Even though she's well traveled, she's still in good shape. I spent more than I'd intended, but this coin would not stay around long, either. The collectors in this area really seem to like early US stuff...it moves out of the store quickly.
