I just opened 17 Nickel rolls and I found a Buffalo, a 1940, a 2001 with an odd goldish tint, and a Canadian 5 cent I also found an unopened US Nickel roll with an Australia 2 Cent from 1982 at the endcap. Any ideas if that's worth anything unopened as an oddity on ebay? -GO

Wow, awesome finds! I don't know, you can try selling it. The worst that could happen is no one would bid. ou can try it. Good luck! Phoenix

You realize just about anyone can create a shotgun-wrapped coin roll at home, right? That's how that Australian coin came to be in your "unopened" roll - somebody made that roll in their kitchen.

A few months ago, I picked up a box of halves to go through. On the end of one of the rolls, there was a Gr. Brittian penny from the 20's or 30's. I thought that was kind of odd. I've also gotten dimes in shotgun rolls of cents.
