They occur when the die has been used so much that it starts to crack. Dies that develop cracks are in their last stages. Certainly keep all of them you find. Report this Post to the Staff

I also agree minor die breaks are common enough to not have any collector value. But there is nothing wrong with keeping any coin you find interesting. Report this Post to the Staff
