I agree with AU58 and for the following reasons. As a very young boy in the late 60s and 70's, in San Francisco, I pulled pennies out of change each year to fill rolls of Pennies. I.e. in 1968 I pulled every 1968 Penny I could find and put them in rolls. And the same for each year going forward.

95 plus percent of all those coins have the same distinctive coloration "patterns" on them from being handled by people. The oils from the hands make that color between the lettering and the bust. It is a classic sign of a circulated coin. However; as it was pulled from circulation very, very early in its life there is very little if any rub. BUT it was circulated.
