MS63RB here. There is a scratch on the obverse by the ear....but this is a NICE IHC. No rub on the cheek....and clean fields. I like this one a lot!! Thanks for sharing BC!!

Second thought...I'm changing my grade. I don't see any real evidence of rub.

MS63 RB, deep scratch above ear and a few spots and marks on the rim, but fields are clean.

I thought high AU at first too when looking at the feather tips but also upon second look appears to me to be about MS63-64

In the bigger picture of the beautiful coins you've presented recently, this one stands as one of the best. I don't care what the grade is.
AU58. And I do not offer that grade often; I don't buy the idea of "circulating for three months and pulled, never to be seen again." You either save it from the Mint, or somebody down a much longer road chooses to save it for differing reasons at AU55 or less.
No discerning collector would be less than proud to have this coin in their stable. I continue to be amazed at the skills of the man who amassed this grouping.

Absolutely beautiful! I agree w/ SsuperDdave. It would be one I would want in my collection. Nice strike and the toning / color is wonderful.

I agree with those in the AU-58 camp.

MS64RB. I don't think the shallow obverse scratch would take it down to a 63. I do think it'd keep it from a 65, though. I also think this is one of those coins that deserves an eye-appeal star!
