To mark my 1,000th post I offer you the prettiest I have. Germany 1,000 Marks 1910... And also to pass on my thanks to all members on the various forums I use for your unflagging time, expertise and humour over the last three years. I also looked at my collection (of banknotes) and find I have over 200 with 1,000 (whatever) denomination from over 80 countries. So a little competition. I'm afraid I can't offer a prize but only SBRs (serious bragging rights). Name the countries (1-13) which feature the details outlined on their 1,000 whatever notes â€" and the hidden message.

Well, I've tried and tried, but I can't get #12, even though I know it's a 'C' country - I just can't place it. I'll guess Chile?
#13 must be French Pacific Territories.
Nice Competition - Thanks for the fun! I like it, even though I'm stumped on #12.

#13 is French Pacific Territories like dave said.
#12 is really hard, pic seems a little blurry but with if it is supposed to be "C" country to make the hidden message, I will guess Canada.

I am stumped on 12 also I guessed it was from the lemur on the Madagascar 1000. 13 could be a number of places as this image was used on separate notes for Tahiti and New Caledonia as well as on the combined issues from the French Pacific Territories. I was looking at the last group as the OPs initials. CCF makes more sense.

That was a tough one with the Cape Verde note.
I really enjoyed the challenge and I hope you might do another in the future!
Thanks thai-vic
