Hi Guys, From my previous post here are the pictures relatedto the brown coin, sorry I had to start a new topic, unsure how to add pictures to replys on posts.
They are not uncommon. Usual causes are have been lost in the garden or a playground (with wood bark surface) or something similar. Found months later looking like that.
Another possibility is fallen under the bar in a pub and wet with beer slops for some time.
