Bought a whole set of 2 oz silver Privateers but these came with capsules, so I get to sell off my old ones, and therefore get ANOTHER P1 Ship and capsules for all my rounds for a total of $43 out of pocket. :D

I am using my "collection" -- selling "stuff" to add to my collection. Sold one IKE low ball @ $150, and bartering other IKEs for a savings in cash flow to do it.

Bought 20 Silver dollars

5 UN 1921 Morgans & 15 Peace dollars. More or less these Silver dollars are paid for with the "profit" I made in the IKE sales & barter.

Just bought 2018 Perth Mint dog lunar silver 1/2 oz, 1oz, and 10oz. Not sure which ones have the lowest mintages. I'm guessing the 2 oz and 10z.
I heard lowest mintages on the 2016 monkey were the 10z silver.

I bought on ebay 20 Walkers at a few cents below melt.

BTW. I have been having some success doing ebay searches with odd numbers of items.

like 7 Morgans.

I am sure few were bidding on this guys 20 Walkers, because he had a weird LONG title.

IMO he blocked out the majority of lookers-bidders

UP-DATE on Walkers

Just bought another 9 Walkers

Total price paid for 29 coins with shipping cost included was an average of $5.96 ea.

Happy to say that is below melt value.

I am finding that how you *search* ebay is turning up some listings that are NOT being "seen" by the mass bidders. IMHO

@mr1030, great gold! It would be nicer if your pictures showed the yellow better, though!

@mr1030, those 50 Peso are downright huge, aren't they! Picked one up myself a couple months ago.

What percentage silver are the 50 Peso coins? I have a few of the 1947 big silver Mexican coins with the Indian god on the face. I know these coins go for pretty good money since they are 90% silver. They are not rare but heavy and look great just like your Peso. I am beginning to think that these big silver coins (circulated) will rise in numismatic value down the road. There is just nothing like them minted in the last decades. I have a Turks&Caicos silver commemorative that is huge. Bigger than the thaler.

@oriole yeah I noticed the gold color in the photos too. I had alot of light coming in through the window and it seemed to mute the gold color. I'll have to play around with other light sources in the house that can do the color justice without my fat head or the cell phone casting a shadow on the coins. Those ring flashes some of the truly excellent photographers in this community use with their dslr's really bring the best out in their pictures.

@terry8835, you must mean the 5 pesos. They are 90% silver. It is a really striking design. Issued in 1947 and 1948, about 31 million total were issued.Being so common I do not see much numismatic value in the future, unfortunately.
