Picked up a few quarters

He's lucky they arrived.

The gauge of a business is not how well they do when things go right it is how they do when things go wrong.

I made 2 purchases from JM Bullion and the first time no problem. I ordered, mailed my check, they got my check, they held it a while, they shipped my order, and I got it.

The second time it was the same until the last step. I didn't get it. They shipped USPS and it showed delivered and signed for. I never got it and the signature was not from anyone here. The next day after it showed delivered I realized there was a problem. Rather than go keyboard commando like everyone else today and rant and rave and say I emailed them 10 times in 10 minutes and still haven;t heard back which only leads to someone with common sense posting "pick up the phone and call them" I went straight to pick up the phone and called them. During their posted normal business hours the phone rang, it was immediately picked up by their robo automation system and I was put on perpetual hold. After 10 minutes I had to hang up because my boss isn't paying me to sit on hold with non work related business. 2 hours later I tried again and same thing: 10 minutes on hold until I had to hang up again.

Fortunately the regular mailman at work is cool and went out of his way and was able to track down my $800 worth of silver with no leads other than it was misdelivered the day before by the temp. And what was JM Bullions answer to my email 2 days later: go to your local post office and take it up with them. I emailed their "customer service" rep back that I would never purchase from them again even though it was originally a USPS issue but after no response multiple times it now became their fault. Their response before I emailed them back that the mailman cleaned up their mess like a responsible individual should after opening a claim was "Go to your local post office and take i6t up with them"

Buyer beware. You have been warned. If you are one of the fortunate ones who gambled and won congrats but when you get burned don't say I didn't warn you.

Got my last two coins in the Bird of Prey series in the mail the other day...

I received my Gettsyburg 5 ounce puck from the JM Bullion sell last week. I really like it.

I received a nice 1946 S Walking Liberty half dollar today. I love it!

I did not scrape up the cash to buy the dimes or quarters I wrote about in the Classic and Modern coins threads.
Instead I got all this for $43!
An identical Lunt baby cup with no engraving (mine has an engraving, but is in good shape, weighs 53 grams) is listed on ebay for $89
The Fisher sterling and etched glass bowl may bring about the same. (It is large, pretty, and in good condition)
The 6 coasters yielded 58 grams of scrap sterling - (little extra value, not worth Ebaying)
The double jigger is about 44 grams of scrap sterling - (lots of dents)
The strainer spoon is .830 Scandinavian silver, might bring around $25 (have not been able to pinpoint its hallmark)
The coin the pictures is a quarter, to get an idea of the size of the objects.
So I think I have a likely $180 in ebay value, + I could easily get about $40 for the scrap material
