32 War Nickels for $13 1 40% half for .50 (yes, face value) I usually don't buy these, but the prices were just too good :-) Last day of an estate sale, everything was half price |

Cascade: It IS rather unusual to have silver coins left at estate sales on the last day. Also, usually they (and sterling silver items) are excluded from the 50% off last day discount. So, I was a bit fortunate.

I bought a £2 British Year of the Monkey one ounce silver coin. Not the most beautiful coin that I've ever seen, but something different.

A few more coins from another estate sale half price day:
a 40% half for $1
.75 face of 80% Canadian (3 heavily tarnished quarters that cleaned up nicely)
with a 1987 Loonie for $1 total.
Not huge scores, but no-brainer buys.
