I sometimes see interesting pattern coins through my ebay crosshairs, described as products of the auction in the title. Could someone fill in my knowledge regarding these patterns?

Addendum: I've pulled their site up as I type this, and I'm terrified that I will be unable to leave the place with my pocketbook undamaged. What wonderful shineys they have!
Rest in Peace

Dave, did you find a specific site for patterns? All I found on a Google were 50+ ebay, Yahoo, and other auctions which mention the Spinks Pattern Auction of 2001.

Oh, no, I was referring to Spinks' site in general. They have some really excellent stuff, especially UK issues, as you'd imagine.
Rest in Peace
