Great details and strong strike, but I would value it at MS60 for the spotting and reverse.

I'm seeing an interesting mark in the neck of Liberty--is it raised?
It might be a file mark made to the die, or something cooler like the base of a "1" digit.

Here's something similar on an 1882 IHC. It's the Snow-6 variety

I just tried cropping that original photo to better demonstrate the mark-- I shot these in the camera's lowest res so it didn't help much. Guess I should have just shot everything in full res in case there were interesting details to examine, duh. Changing the camera setting now before taking any more...

I agree with Zerbato. That would be a beautiful coin if it weren't for the spotting.

Nice coin!... even with the spotting. I would give it a soak in accetone. It will not hurt the coin and may help.

If you have a magnifier, you could turn the coin under light to tell whether it's a stain, dent, or a raised line. If it's a raised line, that could mean it's a file mark--or better yet, a new variety like an MPD (misplaced digit) such as the 1882 IHC.
