I got a few rolls of pennies at my local coffee shop where I got to know the girls working over time & always ask for a roll or 2 or pennies if possible when getting my coffee...
Well today, I got 2 rolls of pennies with a coffee, came home & started looking... To my shock, there were numerous wheat pennies & early Canadian pennies from the 2 rolls!
A few hours later, I went back with $5.00 in rolled pennies that I was going to return to the bank, but decided to bring them there & get $5.00 more dollars in pennies swapped over, which she had no problems with it at all... So after searching the $7.00 in pennies, I found a bundle of pennies from as early as 1919, which there were 2 of! It's like whomever rolled these didnt know what they were rolling!!
Seems it pays to just ask wherever you go for penny rolls!!
A list of a few US pennies I got today: 72s,46d,40s,40d,59d,54s,55d,55d,1919,1919,1941,68s,51s,52s,29,44,26,44s,44s,60,53d,57d,26,45s,41 and more!!
