What is the reputation of GEC ( Grade Evaluation Company )? We are new to this and would appreciate your feedback.

BAD. They are NOT a TPG (Third Party Grader) They are just someone sittingin their basement putting grossly overgraded coins into slabs.

Read this! I took it from the ebay forums:
"G E C LOL GRADE EVALUATION COMPANY. AS SOON AS YOU GET WISE TO ONE GRADING FICTICIOUS COMPANY THE SELLERS ARE MAKING UP, THEY SWITCH AND START ANOTHER ONE. THEIVES. ROBBERS. FRAUDULANT B.S. PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSE, BUY THE COIN. NOT THE GRADE IT SAYS IT IS. PICTURES AREN'T CLEAR ENOUGH. ASK THE SELLER FOR BETTER ONE. WE ALL HAVE CAMERAS AND KNOW HOW TO USE THEM. AND IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR!!! OH THAT LOOKS PRETTY COULD COST YOU A THOUSAND DOLLAR LESSON"

He's right. Stick to guys like PCGS, NGC, and if you are canadian, ICCS.
