I started collecting the wildlife series (the grizzly, cougar, moose, antelope) after the series started. The first one that I purchased was the grizzly and then the moose, cougar, and antelope. I was unable to find a wolf for a decent price. My local coin shop (I am from Michigan) got some in and they are asking $65. Is that too high of a premium? Does anyone know of somewhere else that I can find these beside ebay? Thanks everyone

The wolf is usually goes for $60 or above. I got mine for $60. If you on ebay looking for these, make sure to look for the 2011 and not the 2006. The 2006 is 1/2 oz and some people don't put that on their ads. I almost got sucker into buying a 1/2 oz once thinking I got a good deal on a $40 bid. Luckily someone outbid me and save me from that mistake.

@Stud722 $65 is a good price. Bought mine couple of month ago. I got 3 RCM sealed for $60 each one and wanted to check the storage / display option: 1 sealed - still in good condition 1 removed from seal and put in Lighthouse 38mm capsule and to the wooden display box - no milk spots. 1 removed from the seal and put to Quadrum capsule to the wooden box with glass top (nice to display) - covered by milk spots. IMO, the quadrums are less hermetic, and probably together with black insert caused to problems (in my place).

Picked up a NGC MS 69 Wolf the other day. Out of 1 mil minted , only 486 graded at MS 69 , no wolves have ever graded NGC or PCGS above a 69. It is an absolutely beautiful coin.

I ususally go to this wiki page to look for silver maple leaf mintage info. the silver timber wolf mintage is always 1M, but recently someone changed it to 200,000. is there anywhere else that can confirm this number? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadi...dlife_Series

Just saw that too and did a double take. Charlton 2013 does not show mintage for any of this series (as you probably know) Also in for confirmation.

Unfortunately people use wikipedia as an authority on information. Everyone realizes that wikipedia is all user generated facts right ? Feel free to edit the entry to a million if you want.
