mds308 Pillar of the Community United States 1721 Posts	Posted 12/05/2012 11:00 am In case you were wondering who the heck is Phoebe Ann Moses, this was Annie Oakley's real name. She went on to make sunglasses (so I was told). As you can tell by some of my posts, I tend to hang on to some worthless coins. These are the ones that don't qualify for bank vault status. This lovely trio was fished out of the trash from an estate sale. I could write volumes on the stuff I've found in trash piles including coins and gold. These coins have all been shot (probably a .22). Not sure if they were tossed in the air or stuck to the side of a board. Maybe somebody held them in their hand while being shot. Just look for the guy missing a finger or two. I promise to show nicer coins in the very near future. Report this Post to the Staff

ghostrider Pillar of the Community United States 1116 Posts	Posted 12/05/2012 8:09 pm Speaking from personal knowledge if you are going to let someone shoot a coin from between your fingers one of two things are needed: (1) confidence in the ability of the person doing the shooting or (2) that sufficient amounts alcohol have been consumed. It's like the exhibition shooter shooting a cigarette out of the mouth of a partner. Both parties need confidence. Report this Post to the Staff
