I say this is a lovely MS-something example of a very limited distribution (6,637 total) coin.

Alas the photos taken from within what I assume is a 2x2 obscure the details enough that I can not offer a definite opinion on technical grade ... I'm going MS however.

The Texas Centennial of Independence Half Dollar is a tremendous classic silver commemorative design ...

Are you working on a set?

I purchased it with a decent sized collection a few weeks back. The first thing I looked at in the collection was this coin along with 8 other Classic commemoratives in a Wayte Raymond album. I have struggled with taking pictures of coins for online use for years. Sometimes they turn out good, sometimes not so well. I hate to think how much time I have spent taking pictures of coins, with no good results.
