OK here is 3 George 11 coins which I expect to be forgeries /non regal.
I'm not sure so that's why I need your opinions .
The lettering seems to be in the wrong places compared to my other 2 real George 11 halfpenny ,but maybe I'm wrong , none of the 3 coins have the same colour to my 2 real ones.Ive weighed them.
The green coin is 9.41 Grams
The brownish coin is 8.54 grams
And the darkest(black) coin is 9.17 Grams.
(I'm not sure if this is the normal weight for these coins.)

BTW they are slightly smaller than my two real ones (maybe that's just the wear and tear)
And NONE of them have clear dates!
The green one seems to have "56" on it but that couldn't be possible as they stopped making these in "1754" ?
Please,I need opinions...
Well hopefully my prediction is correct as I would rather have them being forgeries Lol.
Here are some pictures for you to judge for yourselves.
Thanks!
John

Coincraft catalogue gives genuine George 11 half pennies with a weight range of 9.7 to 10.3 grammes, and a diameter of 28 to 30mm.
The date range for George 11 half pennies is 1729 to 1754.
Perhaps you can clarify your judgement with this information.

With these pieces it normally just weight. Their compositions are "ALWAYS" pure copper (98-99%) for the counterfeits so if they fall out of the regal weight window they are forgeries and of course this is ALWAYS "below" the regal weight standard. Also check the years as previously mentioned as a non-regal year is an automatic counterfeit regardless of weight. Your presentation needs improvement. Provide as coin #1 obv/rev. with weight, then coin #2 ... etc. It seems only one is counterfeit. They also come in cast & struck. These are all struck ... and two appear as regal ...

The brown one at 8.54 grams or 131.7 grains - maybe. Since they are worn this weight still may be good. PICS are not very good either - there is a book out there called the Forgotten Coins of the North American Colonies by Anton & Kessee. If you have interest in this series you may want to purchase this book as a starting guide.
