Hello!

Few days ago I bought a little coin with some Arabic letters. On the auction photo was really poor so I wasn't able to identify the coin - I have only some hunch. Today the letter with coin finally has arrived.

An-Emirate-Of-Sind-Coin?-Please-Help! An-Emirate-Of-Sind-Coin?-Please-Help!

Weight: 0.55 g
Diameter: 9,5-10 mm

In my opinion, after a better look, he coin was minted by one of the emirs of Sind. It looks very similar to the second one from my collection (unfortunately pics was deleted long ago):

Am I right? Is this a coin from Emirate of Sind? If yes - who minted it, which emir?

Thanks for help!

Interesting coin--wish I could help!
Judging by the script, it is an early Islamic coin.

@DagonX---I have no idea & can't be of any help, but...

I did want to say that I think the pix you included in your thread are well done. What type of camera, lens, settings and equipment (like flash or other lighting, bellows, copy stand, etc--if any) did you use?

As an entry-level player in numismatic photography, I'm going to be seriously disillusioned if you tell me you just slapped that coin into your "all-in-one" fax/printer/copier/scanner and scanned it...

Sorry, should be Fractional (not 'feactional')
Ali
The dates for the emirs in this series are not listed in Mitchiner.
