Both are on 2 different Lincoln cents. There is one on the "9" in 1970. The other is inside the "D" mint mark on the 1988 coin.

Nice common die chip on the 1970 but the 1988 looks more like a gas bubble.

The 1970 is a chip but the 1988 could be just a gas bubble(zinc rot). Even if the '88 is a chip I wouldn't keep it because it does have rot,below the "D".

IMO die chips do not add any value to a coin unless it is very profound.

Value is minimal on one or two chips but become more interesting with three or more. Location of the chip also can peak interest. It would be interesting to start a collection of wheaties and memorials with die chips. It could be challenging for some dates and mintmarks.
