New Purchase - 1857 Flying Eagle Cent - Some Doubling

billymac11 Pillar of the Community United States 613 Posts	Posted 12/11/2012 2:48 pm Can anyone help me out in grading my first Flying Eagle cent? It has some doubling on the "857", the edge of the tail feathers and the edge of the right feathers. Hard to see, but "AMERICA" is doubled, too, in these pictures kinda visible on both A's. If there are known varieties, can anyone ID it as such? It's all new to me! Report this Post to the Staff
