There is something extra on the penny beside the "u" in united. Its a raised area.. Also, kind of bubble areas through "one cent."? you may have to pay close attention to it. my pics arent all that great..Also the same raised dots on the top area of the building and middle part of building. doesn't look like damage after mint to me, seeing is how it still holds the same color and is not gouged out, its more raised, like a bubble almost? Anyone have any feedback? Am I just trippin? lol :)

I'm sure a better qualified poster will come along but in my opinion:

The piece next to the 'U' is a die chip. The bubbles could be from the zinc and plating corrosion.

1983 had alot of plating issues for zinc clads. Raised areas look like bubbles.
