Long shot.! going through some old family paperwork and found a list of numbers (45)that dont go with anything I can find. This family member at one time collected currency. These numbers all start with the letter Q and end with the letter E with 9 digets between
sample -Q137923287E
could this be serial numbers from some sort of paper currency?

to CCF. I Think there is only eight digits in a serial number.

john1 you are correct but old bills use to be put in circulation with serial numbers 100000000 and they use to put the letters reverse of what they do today so it is all possible it did come from currency.
