in Canada a * means it is a replacement note. is this the same?

what is the value on notes like this?

yes it is the same when a error occurs we put a * on it as well.the notes on the auction came from a run of 3,200,000 so it would be only really worth 5 dollars. why do you ask?

because I saw the auction ending and I impulse bought it and was curious, it's not a huge loss because I like them but just wondering!

If they're as good as they look in the pictures....I think they're worth what you gave for them!! Hold them for the long run...they're sharp
