At work today I found some $1 FRN with some interesting serials. This first one is fairly circulated, creased with small tears at the crease.

2006 $1 K 01018585 E

These next two I pulled from crisp stacks straight from the Fed and are crisp uncirculated.

2009 $1 K 39482394 F
2009 $1 K 39482493 F

I also found a 2009 $1 star note in similar condition to the 2006 note that I will be holding on to just because I like finding star notes in circulation. Also found a United Arab Emirates coin in with the quarters, saw no copper edge but it has way more reeds than a US quarter so I knew it wasn't a quarter and probably not silver.

keep them if you want after all they are only $1 dollar bills. I would keep the 01018585 but not the others but it is up to you.
Rest in Peace

I am not a serious bill collector but I would keep them until you find better ones.

For me, it's just fun to find interesting numbers. I suppose if I ever found a true binary or a radar note I would quickly lose interest in my 'almost fancy' serial numbers.

Hello Williamsonj320. Interesting coin find from UAE, I'm taking that it is a 1 Dirham coin. Composition is cupro-nickel. Same as the photo below? Needless to say, I get them all the time

Thanks for the replies everyone!

ckrakowski, I'm probably going to hold onto all of them at least for now. That 01018585 is a pretty neat find that I almost missed. I typically only look for stars and colors other than green when searching, but that one was so unique it actually stuck out to me.

Buddy, I hear ya! I had found another note with all but two of the numbers being 7 and I find it less interesting now that I have found this 01018585 so it may find itself being spent. I would be more inclined to hold onto it if it were crisp but it is not.

BLadd, that is exactly what I found today. Mine has some pretty obvious marks in fields but the device is still in good shape and has some really nice luster. I noticed these do not have dates on them. Why is that?
