The mint's preliminary schedule for 2013 shows the release of a Two-Coin American Silver Eagle West Point Set! I think the announcement of this set deserves its own thread!

Mint News Blog suggests it may be a 75th anniversary set but they said that 2013 would technically be 76th year anniversary of that mint.

Here's to high hopes that they finally give us a HIGH RELIEF ASE.

I wouldn't be disappointed if they did a W-Reverse Proof, but I would be irritated if they give us the regular old W-Proof and the W-burnish in the set.

Pretty safe bet a RP will almost certainly be in there. I agree though I do hope they dont just recycle the W proof for the set and do something whether it be a W with no mint mark or the UHR ASE just do something so its unique. Otherwise just sell the RP on its own

Maybe we'll get another gold / silver set ala the 1995 10th anniversary "W" set , that would be cool

That would definitely keep the mintage extremely low if they went that route. I actually didnt even consider that idea
