Hes trying to make people want it by telling them they cant have it. I think that coin is ugly as sin personally.

Interesting sales tactic. I don't think anyone will fall for it though.

He's had that add up for a long time (or probably keeps reposting it)... But anyways I first noticed it about 3-4 months ago, nobody's fell for it yet and hopefully for a grand nobody does! Lol. I just don't get it... It's advertised as artifically toned and that "you can't tell the difference from this and a natural toned Morgan".... Is he serious? That is one ugly @$$ AT Morgan!! Photos 2 & 3 are the coin for a "g" and photos 4 & 5 are a NT Morgan.. And the NT is a lot nicer (IMHO), not even a comparison! I have a couple AT Morgan's (that I bought for just over melt because I actually liked the colors & I wanted a few examples of AT Morgan's) and they are (again IMO) way nicer than that one! And the NT Morgan's I have.. Well.. I won't even get into that... But I guess personal preference is everything... If its worth a grand to him then great.. He's gonna have it for a long time!

I cannot help but see this person as my new hero. Every new collector who reads the auction is going to learn something about artificial toning.

He has several, most in DWM slabs. This is from ebay guides: " DWM or Denver West Mint is the latest company to do this, take a look if you want to see what a textbook artificially toned coin looks like. You are not likely going to see US type coins like large cents or Bust half dollars in DWM slabs because they are not a grading company, from what I can see they are merely enabling coin doctors to raise the bar in this dark corner of coin collecting. There are whole discussions/threads in coin forums on this slabber if you care to look. I saw that one of DWM's grades given was an AU57. Nice! I urge you to do some of your own detective work, you won't likely find anything legitimate about this operation." This BTW has like, 6 bids. While this has 0, but a BIN of about $36.

It is a ploy to get people to think he can spot AT coins and the 30 or so he has for sale are NT. Nice....

LOL why any one would want to buy artificially toned coins is beyond me.....if you really want an iridescent colored coin hunt out one of the Silver Niobium NCLT.

I think he wasted his listing fees.

It's part of his overall marketing plan to stand out amongst thousands of other dealers. Made us look, didn't he?
