OK. I took a time out, but I am back.
The following is my opinion and nothing more.
Despite the poor pictures, the coin is an obvious 1885. A very clear date, and THAT is important.
The reverse, normal wear. Typical. Sad, but typical.
If this were my coin, I would offer it in trade for a higher grade. But I do not get the drift that the OP wants to go that route.
I have done so this year with an 1886 and a 1912-S. Cash plus coin.
While I do not think that this is a $400 coin, it is not garbage! Somewhere between $100 and $200.
In any event a keeper and a coin to be proud of!
