If I were to take a guess, based on the fact that it looks over cleaned to the point of smoothness I would say $75-100 tops, maybe some others can see more value in it, but for me thats where I am at. I would hold out for an example that compliments your over the top coins in your collection. Like Batmans Phat Nero !

Awwww, but alas, it was too late => for our doddering old hero dove for his spear-gun and pulled hastily on its hair-trigger!

===>>>> swwwooooiinnnnngggggg!!

... the rusty spear hit the target, "dead-on" ...

=> hey fellas, thanks for both sides of the opinion-scale ... I totally appreciate people egging me on, and I also appreciate when people try to warn me that I'm being Steve!!

For the record => I contacted "my guy" and he told me that these coins can often end-up going for higher prices ... he thought the price of this coin was close enough, so he gave me the green-light ...

also => I admit that I/everyone loves a nice mint-coin, but I also must admit that I have quite a soft-spot for these big, fat warm looking coins! (oh, and toss-in a gryphon or a Larry-dog and I'm buying!!)

=> cha-ching!!

Thanks for your help, comrades!!

... eh-heh-heh ... I actually bought "3" more coins (I know ... I know I have a problem)

You have the same "problem" as many (), but it just shows more because you have more means

Believe me, I'm worst than you are (relatively speaking)

Opinions:
Alexandrian drachms circulated a lot and coins with more wear are accepted more readily than might be the case with other coins. Most common are probably Antoninus Pius. They are rare, rare for the Severans. There are many really special types including some that sell well no matter what the condition. Many were poorly struck on the obverse legends because of the way the flans were molded in a cup shape with the obverse considerably smaller than the reverse. All this in consideration, the OP coin is above average and desirable. I'd guess $200.

I'll show a few I feel lucky to have. None are particularly great but well struck, unworn examples of these can bring really big money. I love these big things but can rarely afford one.

Pius x3

LOve the Griffin reverse, I think this coin would fetch from $125-$150. Very nice.
