Good Morning. I have just bought this Ulysses S. Grant Medal for what I think is a very reasonable price.
It is dated 1897, issued by the American Numismatic and Archaeological society, minted by Tiffany & Co. .
It portraits on one side President Grant, and on the other side his Mausoleum in New York City.

I read that only 500 were minted. It is made of bronze, weights about 130 grams and its diameter is about 64 mm.

I don't have any catalog. Do you have more informations on this beautiful medal?

I found five auctions records for this medal:
1) Stack's September 2008 Coin Galleries, Choice UNC: $575
2) Stack's The Americana Sale, 1/12/2009, choice UNC: $517,50
3) Heritage Auctions, 2010 March Fort Worth, TX: $139
4) Heritage Auction, 2008 September, Long Beach, CA, uncertified
5) ebay, 2012: 249,95$

I see very different prices.

Does anybody have other infos about this medal? Thank you!
